I think from my discussions with the management team at Fellows House, Cambridge is a unique location as there are many visitors to the university that stay for longer periods of time as well as tourists and business visitors. So they are trying to cater to a diverse group of needs. Co-situating hotels like this makes sense from a money point of view as it costs less to run by sharing some facilities and no doubt staff. There's a few others like this, such as IHG's Crowne Plaza/Holiday Inn at T4.

Interesting that these hotels (hotel complex?) share some similarities with the Fellows House – Curio Collection (also in Cambridge and about 10 minutes apart) which Michele reviewed a while back. I also stayed at the Curio and enjoyed the location- near enough to walk into Cambridge but away from the congested centre. Is this the future of hotels?

Any thought on doing articles and updates on private jet travel (or turboprop for shorty hops). I have done this around the Caribbean but in Europe the system seems so lacking in transparency and complicated. The empty leg opportunities must be huge but no coordinated approach.
